She’s finally figured out that hands are for toys and that toys are cool
Freshly returned from her 4 month checkup (with shots). she weighed in at 13 lb 5 oz (50th%) and is 24.5 inches long (75th%)

I’m posting this purely to show that she wriggles in circles on her back. I haven’t touched her since the last pic but she’s made it halfway through 360 degrees with only vocal encouragement
Update: she completed the circle and then promptly fell asleep
My old swim poncho/towel makes a good play blanket
It’s absorbent (more so than stringettes) so it’s good for spitup disasters and soft enough that I don’t feel bad putting her down on it
I still find this to be the most efficient method of transporting child and laundry simultaneously
It’s been a morning full of feeds and naps and upsets from waking up. She does seem to like the soft fabric of her bamboo shirt. It’s a good color for her too
